Überblick : Izumi (Megumi Kagurazaka) ist die gelangweilte Ehefrau eines kleinlichen Schriftstellers von seichten Liebesromanen (Kanji Tsuda). Als sie eines Tages von einer Model-Agentin angesprochen wird, hofft sie, ihrem tristen Hausfrauen-Dasein für eine Weile entfliehen zu können. Doch was ursprünglich ein harmloses Foto-Shooting werden sollte, entpuppt sich als Porno-Dreh - sehr zur Freude von Izumi, die an sich neue Seiten und die Lust am Verbotenen entdeckt. Nach einer Weile landet sie in Tokios Rotlichtviertel, beginnt sich zu prostituieren und führt fortan ein Doppelleben. Tagsüber gibt sie die biedere Hausfrau, nachts schläft sie mit Fremden und lässt sich von ihrer Mentorin, der Literatur-Dozentin und Teilzeit-Hure Mitsuko (Makoto Togashi) in die Abgründe des käuflichen Sex einführen. Als jedoch eines Tages die grausam zugerichtete Leiche einer jungen Frau gefunden wird, beginnt die Kommissarin Yoshida (Miki Mizuno), die ebenfalls einer geheimen Leidenschaft frönt, zu ermitteln.
